Amazon Premium Lodge

Amazon Ecopark Jungle Lodge is a tourist, scientific and educational complex. A convenient location close do Manaus (approximately 1 h) on Tarumã river, a tributary of the Negro river. The lodge operates its own transfer (shuttle van or bus to a river pier and regional boat to the lodge).

The lodge has 70 bungalows in 22 stand-alone structures (being rebuilt in brick), each with 3, 4 or 6 apartments. A striking feature of the Amazon Ecopark is the distribution of these structures under the rainforest tree canopy. Each apartment has its own entrance from outside, balcony, screened windows, bathroom with electric shower, air-conditioner and mini bar.

One of the brick structures has 4 apartments and the same features as the others. Two with wheelchair ramps for easy access and bathrooms with safety grab bars for physically challenged guests. The other 2 have two additional twin beds and are ideal for families. Another structure has 6 larger apartments. All units are comfortable and decorated with Amazonian handicrafts.

Meals

Breakfast: 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
Lunch: 12:30 p.m. to 14:00 p.m.
Dinner: 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Beverages are not included during meals. Safe drinking water is available (tap water).
Meals are not included or refundable for guests arriving and departing the ECOPARK LODGE before or after scheduled meal times.

Transfers

- During the day – regular transfers:

From the airport to ECOPARK – for check-in only: included in package cost for guests arriving in Manaus on regular scheduled flights during the day – 06:00 a.m. to 05:00 p.m.;
From ECOPARK to the airport – for check-out only: included in package cost for guests leaving at 08:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.;

- In the evening: from/to AIRPORT available at an additional cost. Our Reservations Department will quote this cost when confirming your booking.
- From/to HOTELS in Manaus before or after Ecopark packages, pre-scheduled transfers included in package cost are available at:

PICK-UP: 08:30 a.m. or 12:00 a.m.;
DROP-OFF: 12:30 p.m. approximate time (departure from ECOPARK at 11:30 a.m.;
Transfers IN/OUT: all transfers are coordinated by supervisors speaking English, Spanish and Portuguese;

Guests are briefed by the coordinator before leaving the airport to the marina.

Airport/Marina or Marina/Airport: This portion of the transfer takes from 12 to 15 min.
Marina/Ecopark or Ecopark/Marina: This portion of the transfer takes from 20 to 25 min.

Depending on number of guests being transferred at one given time, transfer will be by typical regional boat or a motor canoe with a collapsible cover.

At the Ecopark: a staff member is always at the pier coordinating arrival and departure of guests.

* Transfers IN/OUT will be accompanied by one of our English, Spanish and Portuguese speaking operation coordinators.

Children policy

1 child up to 5 years old sharing the same room with 2 adults = FREE of charge (except extras);
From 6 to 12 years old = a seasonal special discount will be informed at the time of booking;
2 children in the same room with 2 adults occupying a quadruple room = conditions are the same as listed above.

The commitment of the administration of the Amazon Ecopark Jungle Lodge is to deliver, to the extent possible, all contracted services;
The Amazon Ecopark Lodge will not be liable to any changes, damages or costs due to circumstances beyond its control, such as a natural phenomenon or a seasonal occurrence of any type;
All our efforts, however, will be focused in providing visitors services of the best quality available and welfare.

What to pack

Our suggestion is to pack neutral color cotton or light clothing (shirts, socks and shorts), trekking trousers or similar, nylon coat and rain gear, hat, sunscreen lotion, hiking boots or shoes, personal items and medication, bathing suits and … very good mood!!!
